This grail needs no introduction to anyone involved in the vintage band shirt game, as it features the cover art of one of Sonic Youth’s most critically acclaimed albums Dirty.
The iconic design was produced by LA based artist Mike Kelly as part of a series of seven mugshot type photos of stuffed animals and one of himself.
This specific shirt was acquired from the original owner who bought it in Cologne Germany in 1992 when Sonic Youth played at the event location E-Werk.
